The Weather Box

These pictures show Pumptron in its Weather Box attached next to a mains switch box. In the picture on the right, observe that Pumptron is fixed to the back wall. The weather box opens by pulling the roof forward; by leaving the front screws on, they serve as hinges. This new model makes installation much easier and quicker.

The weather box is a sealed unit to protect Pumptron from the weather, insects and crawling creatures. Whenever the unit is installed exposed to climate the weather box must be used.

The weather box contains a special bracket to support Pumptron in position. It also has the fitting for the FAN.

Pumps consuming less than 15 Amps and installed in a shed may not use the FAN, however, it is advisable to still use the box for safety.
